Sutton Park is a massive urban park that covers more than 970 hectares and offers extensive outdoor recreational activities across its heathland, wetland, lakes and ancient woodlands. Visitors to the park enjoy dog walking, bike riding and kite flying, though that's just the beginning of all the activities you can enjoy here.
The whole family can find fun at this park with its easy walking paths that are perfect for kids, adults and people with disabilities, as many of the paths are paved. Most people spend about 2 or 3 hours here, but there's enough to do to keep you occupied all afternoon if you prefer.

This park has quite a few exciting features to enjoy. You'll find a private 18-hole golf course on the west side, while a municipal golf course can be found to the south. Good to know when visiting Sutton Park
When you visit Sutton Park, there are some things to keep in mind. The park has no entrance fee, but you may have to cover the cost of parking. On Sundays and bank holidays, there's a parking fee. Additionally, every day from Easter to September has a parking fee. The rest of the year, however, offers free parking.
Sutton Park is a few miles to the northeast of the Birmingham town centre, so you'll have to do a bit of travelling to reach it. Fortunately, highways make it easy to access. You can even visit other attractions like Star City along the way.
