"What a beautiful property! The rooms are spacious and lovely with comfy beds, we slept with the window open to hear the babbling brook that runs along next door. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. "Great location as a base with Keswick only a 20 min walk or 5 minute drive. The room was comfortable with everything you needed and there were spare items such as towels and coffee to help yourself to in communal areas. Breakfast was fantastic and all of the staff we met were so helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again!"

"Hostel itself is very good with everything needed for a good stay. The road leading to the hostel however is almost unsuitable for vehicles and this is not mentioned when booking. Almost 1 mile of rough terrain is enough to cause significant damage."
