Great location. Staff seemed apprehensive. Checkin staff was not warm but kitchen staff were very friendly and lovely. Security guards were hit and miss. Some very polite and one was “suspicious”. Checkout staff was warmed and smiled and thanked us for our stay. Overall, great facility. Pity about some staff who didn’t match the facility with a complementary attitude.

Ballamtynes lodge is located in an amazing setting in the middle of Harare. It has a beautiful garden. But most outstanding is the hospitality of the owners and the staff. A wonderful place to stay.
