The hotel was conveniently located close to Market Square and to the University. The room was clean. The staff were very friend and helpful. You have to park in a parking garage a block away which is not terrible but also not the most convenient situation. I would stay there again.

Clean room, great location...parking at the parking garage is a little inconvenient.

The hotel was nice enough and the breakfast was good. The parking situation isn't the best. You have to park in a garage down the street and let them know each time you go in so they can validate your parking. Staff was great!

We stayed at this no frills hotel to go to a UT game. The location was good for walking to and from the game, downtown & we also went to a concert at the arena. The rooms were a bit small but that’s to be expected from an express location. My only minor complaint was that check in took forever (or maybe forever to me after a 5 hour flight). There was only one guy working and quite a line. I will say he was doing his best and was friendly and apologetic for the wait. We saw the same long line the next day so it didn’t seem like a one off. Overall I would stay here again and suggest it to others . Just be patient :)

I wish they'd had coffee in-room rather than making you go to the 2nd floor, where the coffee machine was usually broken. Also they didn't clean the room at all for some reason? And there was no gym even though it said there was.

The staff was incredible. The hotel was nice and smelled great. However, be prepared to pay for parking. The garage is about a block away and charges $20 a day. The hotel was recently opened so there was no gym and most of the electric did not work in the room. We had to move the refrigerator across the room and we had to plug the microwave into a bathroom outlet to make it work. The staff apologized and were super nice. There were "joints" on the floor in the lobby which smelled up everything. The fire alarm went off at 4:30am which evacuated the entire hotel. It was just a mess, but over all the room was made to work for us. They have two elevators and only one worked. Overall, it is in a central location in the city and is a 5 minute walk from everything. I would suggest another hotel for three or more people as the rooms are very tiny.

We stayed at this hotel for the UT / Bama football game so prices all over the city are INSANE but compared to other places this hotel was somewhat reasonable. We had a great stay and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was an added bonus and had a good spread. The location is also perfect - just a block off of Market Square and another to Gay street which makes it easy getting in and out of downtown. We actually walked back to the hotel / area after the football game which is the main reason why we wanted to stay downtown. There are only a few minor issues for knocking off one star - the rooms are small, there are no dressers / shelves to put folded clothing, and the sink drained slowly. The only other item is the parking but we did not find this to be a negative - it is not on site but is across the street and half a block down (very close though). When loading and unloading there are only a few spots directly in front of the hotel but you need to make sure you put on your flashers since it is a loading zone. There is a microwave and min-frig in the room too. Thank you for a great stay!
