Staff and locals were very friendly and helpful. Well situated for public transport and entertainment. Only down side was that a few of our party (who are fussy eaters at any time) couldn't find anything suitable on the evening menu. However, the management were quite happy for them to order in food and eat with the rest of our group. The other members of the group thought the food was well cooked, reasonably priced and were served good sized meals. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The bed was probably the comfiest I have ever slept in. Lovely owner. Very helpful and friendly. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. I can't pick a fault it's a great place to stay. Especially for the price. I will certainly be staying there again!

We had a fantastic stay at the Norfolk Arms. The pub, restaurant, and rooms have all been beautifully renovated, creating a fresh, welcoming atmosphere throughout. A huge 5‑star shoutout to Cameron. His hard work, excellent customer service, and genuine passion for hospitality made our visit truly memorable. It’s clear that tourism is in his heart, and he goes above and beyond to make every guest’s stay the best it can be. While the outside still looks a little tired, please don’t let that put you off. What matters is the experience inside — and that’s where the Norfolk Arms really shines. We will be revisiting.

The hotel is in a transition phase - they're in the midst of a reboot/refurb so things are still a bit up and down, though they did seem to be trying their best. I stayed in one of the finished rooms and everything was just as you would expect. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked so my colleague had to stay in one of the incomplete rooms. This did not at all match the description or pictures and was an experience to say the least. I would make sure that they have not overbooked and that you are staying in one of the newer rooms, in which case this hotel matches expectations. They don't currently provide breakfast, although the dinner menu was fairly good.

The Norfolk Arms is a little gem, convenient for M1 travellers and close to visitors attractions. Clean and tidy with helpful staff, meals availble, including Sunday Roast, in a nice restaurant. As I have mobility issues, I was provided with an adapted ground floor room with walk in shower, comfort toilet with grab rails which made my stay so much easier. There are plenty of parking spaces and a beer garden. I have stayed there before and will definitly stay there again. Highly recommended.

Easy parking . Was told on arrival there was no food . Had to send for a takeaway. Pub was locked up for 10pm . Floors need hoovered and mopped properly. Clean bed and bathroom . Very functional.

There was no breakfast available in the morning, and the room had no mugs or milk on arrival. Booked to stay here as it was convenient for the business I was attending in the area. The TV in the room could not get standard channels. The TV was not set up correctly.
