Arguably the best B and B we've ever stayed at. Our hostess / manager was top notch and made sure we were well cared for during our stay. The room was furnished with period furniture and the bed and sheets were very comfortable. Did I mention very fluffy towels? If we come through Vicksburg again, we'll be staying there.

Our first stay at Baer House was delightful. The property is being lovingly restored and exudes the charm one expects from a mid-1800’s home. The heart & soul of this home is LaTonya, who delivers an extraordinary BnB experience. This is our new ‘go-to’ place to stay in Vicksburg.

Latonya the manager is a treasure. She helped me with the door and took me around the house. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were so comfortable. Plan to return some day.

My wife, friends and I had a terrific stay. Latonya is a great hostess and a wonderful person to be around. Breakfast was excellent each day. The house is beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend this B&B.

The house was beautifully maintained with polished wood floors and fresh paint. The rooms were decorated with lovely antiques. There was a large library of books in order of era and a pool table. The breakfasts were delicious. LaTonya is a wonderful, thoughtful host who genuinely enjoys serving and meeting her guests!

TONYA and her son, Jay, were AMAZING! As a retired history teacher, I loved the antiques and the house was SO WELL done. I will def be back if ever in Vicksburg again. The breakfast waa really good, as well. I was in The Leona Magnolia Suite and the bed was STUNNING!

This property is well located among other Victorian homes; it is quiet and clean. The property is very close to downtown for restaurants, museums and the MLK civil rights center.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Baer House Inn. Latonya was a great host, she let us know of places to eat and informed us of things to see in town. She also pointed out that parking is free all around town, and let us know about the passport book you can get stamped at attractions and get a free t-shirt at the Vicksburg visitor center before you leave town. The beds, pillows, and linens were great. Everyone at breakfast commented on what a great nights sleep they got. Towels are also plush and oversized. It's an old house, but fitted with new amenities. A high toilet was nice. Fridge in room. Also TV with YoutubeTV. Coffee and tea Kuerig in the hallway for anytime you might need it. Good wifi. Felt safe parking our car on the property. Breakfast was great. Eggs, fresh fruit, sausages, and French toast. The next day quiche, fresh fruit and grits! we played a few games on the pool table before heading out of town. Will definitely stay here again if we are in town.

This is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast Hotel. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and filling! The variety of courses and tastes were first rate. And the 1870's Eastlake house and furnishings create a magical experience. I highly recommend staying here for your stay in Vicksburg.

Beautifully restored home with gorgeous antiques throughout. Each bedroom is unique in its decor. Delicious breakfast served on china and crystal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I had such a wonderful time at the Baer House! LaTonya, the house manager, treated me like royalty--and a good friend. The home is magnificent and not just cared for but loved. I would highly recommend staying here. It surpassed my expectations! Thank you, everyone, for making me feel at home.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The property is just beautiful, clean, the furniture and home decor is so beautifully done, all antiques and timeless pieces. Bed was super comfy. But the star of the show is LaTonya. She was so welcoming, accommodating, helpful, she goes above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were delicious too! We will most definitely be back on our way to/from Auburn when we visit our daughter! Also, within walking distance to charming downtown Vicksburg.

We enjoyed our stay at The Baer House so much. Tonya was welcoming and started seeing to our needs as soon as we arrived. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated with historical artifacts and period furniture. We will definitely be back for another two day getaway.

The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.

I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. I was not disappointed. This place is utterly charming, a well-preserved taste of the 1800s, in which the house was built. It was like stepping back in time, with all of the modern amenities that you would want in any overnight stay. The floors were shiny and clean. The breakfast was far better than anything you would get in town, fending for yourself. The staff was everything that you would hope for. The bed...the bed was so nice that I asked what brand it was. It was so comfortable! Good food and drink are an easy walk and that saves you the trouble of figuring out how many drinks you should have for dinner, and maybe after dinner. I had purchased some local bourbon and told the Manager, LaTonya, that I was hoping to enjoy some while sitting in a rocking chair, on the porch, and watch a thunderstorm roll in that night. She set out glasses for me and even ice, in case I wanted it. The house, the bed, the breakfast, the location, they were all amazing! However, the very best part of the entire experience was LaTonya. She cares for her guests as if they are family. Southern hospitality at its finest! She went out of her way to serve me and make sure that I was comfortable. This is the only place that I will ever stay if I find myself back in Vicksburg!
