Where do I begin? The kitchen area wasn't cleaned prior to arrival. The shower area is covered by some sort of plastic sheet and open to the outside. The room is located next to several late night dining areas or clubs. They played music very late into the night. Lots of road noise all throughout the night.
the worst thing is - San Juan had been experiencing issues with their water supply for the week or two prior to our arrival. Our host neglected to tell us this. Upon our arrival, we were told there would be no water until later that night. So we arrived tired and sweaty to our accommodation that provided no way of washing our hands, using the toilet, or taking a shower. The manager spent a couple hours telling me that water had been delivered to our room (when it had not) and then that someone was coming to bring water in 20 minutes. The 20 minutes turned into hours. They neglected to refund our stay and their customer service was terrible. Never again!!! Everything in the area was booked so we were unable to book a different place at the last minute. Otherwise, we would have left. Horrible.
