Very clean, Staff very helpful, well equipped apartment and close to main Valletta attractions Our only issue really was that the bathroom needed a larger washbasin as its only suitable as a very small hand basin but that is us being picky. Would definitely recommend and certainly will be returning.

Getting a room with a view in old Valletta is hard. Getting a quiet one is even harder. With the ground floor apartment at 136 Old Bakery the only daylight comes from two air shafts, but there is almost no street noise - even on the evening of the national election! Comfortable bed, good bathroom, espresso machine and a friendly chamber maid. The left luggage 24hr machines a block down the street are useful.

The suite at 136 main floor was large and very comfortable. The kitchen was Sufficiently equipped for two persons and is new and fully functional with fridge, freezer, induction stove top and both a pod coffee maker and kettle. Only drawback is we couldn’t find a store selling the pods to match our coffee needs. The location is perfect from an eating out perspective kudos to Sally Point pizza at the foot of old bakery. As well fantastic Chinese food up the street. Cleaning staff and management were easy to get hold of. Wifi was super fast. All in All we would stay again.

Have in the city

The location is excellent. A quiet haven in the midst of the city. Very handy for all the main sites and ferries. Domestic staff was very helpful and friendly. Spaceous and very well equipped. Settee was not the most comfortable but it was only during heavy rain that it was used for any length of time.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, smelled lovely, great amenities and a balcony overlooking the street. I felt very secure as a woman travelling solo and the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to quickly resolve any minor issues I had. The only thing I will say is that soundproofing could be improved. I could often hear noise from the other apartments and outside. Nonetheless this is somewhere I would stay over and over again. Thank you!

We stayed in apartment 4, a superior room with a window to the street. This means there is some street noise so earplugs are useful. The room is really well appointed, nice comfortable bed and the little kitchenette is well thought out. There is no hot water in the kitchen sink but we just used the kettle. The hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the AC and it was immediately rectified. The floor was a bit dirty but everything else was spotless. Would stay here again, it’s really central and everything is in easy walking distance.

The apartment was spacious and clean. We would have liked clean towels a day earlier than we got them. The neighborhood was quiet but the sidewalks were hard to navigate because they were so uneven and broken. Also we didn’t care for the fact we couldn’t even put toilet paper in the toilet. It was rather unsanitary.

We recently spent a week in Malta and loved our stay. We ran into a small issue our second day but the property manager was super responsive and the problem was cleared up with no real inconvenience for us. The property is located very close to major cultural attractions and restaurants but on a quiet street so no disturbances. I loved the architecture of the property and area. People visiting should be clear this is not a hotel and more of an apartment with a full kitchen and living room area. You can even buy some of your own supplies to keep in fridge. It was central to everything in Valletta which is a great walkable city with much to see and enjoy. Highly recommend!
