The property seems to have been recently renovated, which is good, and there was a wide assortment of hot plates and toaster ovens and knives, but the overall construction of the room itself seemed flimsy.
In Vermont’s February, I had to use my bags to shore up against the cold draft coming in under the door, the floor (pergo or similar material) was freezing, walls were thin, and security (no deadbolt, but a smallish hinge-like device that may or may not have held up to aggression, and a check-in process that felt more like a public gym locker than a place to sleep soundly) also felt a little iffy.
They’ve clearly put money into renewing the place, but I don’t think I’d stay there again if I can get something more comfortable for another $50 a night or less.
