Our stay at Element Hotel at LakePoint was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The bathroom and kitchen were dirty, and the bedding had a strange odor that made the room feel anything but fresh.
The restaurant was equally disappointing. The food was terrible, especially considering the high prices. To make matters worse, the tables and chairs were dirty, and bugs were everywhere because the doors were left open.
The biggest issue, however, was the excessive noise. The hotel hosts live music on weekends until 12:30 a.m., and our room was directly below the venue. We got virtually no sleep. I called the front desk several times, only to be told, “Sorry, it ends at 12:30.” The music continued until nearly 1:00 a.m., and after that we had to listen to chairs being dragged across the floor until around 2:00 a.m.
Had we known this in advance, we never would have booked this hotel. Spending nearly $500 for one night of pure frustration, noise, and lack of sleep was unacceptable. We left exhausted and extremely disappointed.
We will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing hotel experience.
