Had a lovely stay at the Duodo Palace Hotel for our anniversary. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to most of the city. My wife and I enjoyed the secluded location, tucked away on a dead end street. The staff, on the whole, was helpful and friendly. (Just one, slightly gruff, waiter at breakfast. I think he may have been a trainee.)
Breakfast was nice and a real plus when wanting to get out into the city streets and not having to worry about finding a place open at an early hour. The food was decent but nothing overly special.
The rooms were clean with plenty of space. The beds, on the other hand, were very uncomfortable. There was no enclosure on the bathtub so taking a shower is a messy proposition, but in keeping with many bathrooms throughout Europe. The hairdryer was very dated, but still served it's purpose.
Overall, the stay was lovely. I'm only sharing these few issues so others can adjust their expectations.
