Great location & staff!

Staff was very accommodating with storing our luggage before and after check in/out. They were great with local recommendations! Easy walk to train station with luggage, sea/port, restaurants and stores, perfect location!

Stay someplace else.

My room had a strong smell. The room was in an obscure location, next to a utility space used by hotel staff. The staff kept a service card parked in the hallway that impeded the ingress/egress to my room. When I first arrived, the shower had no shampoo. They only provided a bottle of hand soap that was placed in the shower. It's also right off of a busy highway. Not good.

I’ve stayed in many different hotels in Cannes over the years and I’ve just found my favourite! Beautiful room with an amazing view, close to everything and only a short walk to The Palais where my meetings were. Great staff, spotless room, highly recommended!

One of the best hotels in Cannes

The experience at Hotel Renoir was amazing. The hotel is just 10min walking distance to the Croisette and is in a quiet tranquil part of Cannes on a small hill. Customer service was friendly and accommodating and the staff was able to keep me in the same hotel room when I requested to extend a few days.

Right in the heart of Cannes! Close to the market with lots of shopping. Waterfront was within walking distance. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the room. Breakfast was offered (for a price), but we chose to walk to the market and experience the morning hustle. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Cannes.

They don’t have the partnership with the beach club no more! We picked it just because of it, but it was very good overall.

8/10 Very good

Lovely big room. No help with baggage and a long flight of stairs to carry your luggage up to the main lobby. No designated parking. You have to find a spot on the street or park in a nearby lot for 20€ per day. Coffee machine in the room didn’t work but they graciously brought us coffee.
Nicole, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We've stayed at this property several times over the years. We like the location, and easy walk from the train station. The staff always friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were lovely. This particular room was showing some wear and tear however. The area around the shower is carpeted and if it gets damp is a bit smelly. The toilet room was separate which is convenient.
Kenneth, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The property should be rated 2 star or 3 star maximum and definitely not 4 star. The hallway and inside the rooms had a smell from a very old carpet almost residue from smoking. the staff were friendly and courteous. the property mis in need of renovations and to deserve its star rating the owners should consider investing in it.
Tony, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible service I paid for a room with two beds . Not room available . The answer from the reception: You reserve a room with two single beds but we don’t have .
Alicia, 1-night trip

Hotel is not a 4 Star facility, 2 stars the most. Expedia and hotel provided false information regarding beach towels and beach loungers. They don’t provide either. Explanation was that they used to have a contract with some facility on the beach and it was cancelled yet Expedia still has that in their amenities description. Had to spend €175 to rent towels and beach loungers. Toilets are small. WiFi Horrible.
Gabriel, 3-night trip

I need my 100€ "warranty" payment back!!! This is just not acceptable. There is absolutely no information about this extra expense that they ask me to claim to the money back from my bank. Don't fall into tjis trap!!
Kouami, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Beware of false advertising!!

The description of this hotel is deceiving. There is no beach… they’ll give you a pass to some other location but it’s not close and you have to provide your own transportation. There isn’t anyone to help with suitcases and there are twelve steep steps to get to the reception desk. There were many other true four star hotels available for half the price in better locations. Very disappointed that Hotels.com allowed this listing/pictures and hotel classification. We prepaid for four days and were stuck with them. It ruined our stay in Cannes.
Janusz, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Misuse of my Credit Card. I checked out properly and paid the usage of the bar. After I left they started charging my credit card many times with various amounts. After I called and was upset they returned the money except for a small amount because they said "oh they discovered later I consumed something from the mini". I explained that it can not be because I checked out and paid all consumptions and I have the receipt. But they stopped answering. This is a clear attempt to misuse the card. Even they returned after calls and emails they still kept a small value, which I will let my bank and Expedia dispute with them. Never had such a bad experience.
Rizkallah, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Our room was big and the bed was really comfortable. The decor was what I'd describe as "Hollywood glam" -- not at all the shabby chic like it looks in the photo. The bathroom was huge -- probably the biggest one I've seen in France, with a big bathtub for soaking. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area are quite small -- the breakfast area in particular was nice but looked cramped -- it was not an enticing spot for breakfast. The hotel is easy walking distance to/from the train station, which was great. The downside of the location is that you have to cross a very busy, major intersection to walk toward the water. This was less than ideal and crossing the streets there was a bit stressful. Our room actually looked out onto a main street, but the windows blocked out all the noise. The AC also worked well which was important!! It is an easy walk down to the beach and all the cute shops. Another thing to note: the hotel has an "agreement" with a beach club to give guests a discount on beach chairs. However, be aware that the discount is only 5 euro, and it's only good for certain chairs. But, we had a GREAT time at the beach club (I think it's called C Beach). Be prepared to pay $18 for an Aperol Spritz and $8 for a Diet Coke, but it was a pretty fabulous spot to relax and live the Cannes life for a day.
