After having a confirmed reservation for months - and receiving communication from Courtyard the day before that they were looking forward to seeing us the next day, - we arrived to be told there was a “mix up” with Hotels.com and we did not have a room. The email the day before said, “At Courtyard, we live by the Golden Rule, treating others like we’d like to be treated. This principal has always been our guiding light.” I don’t believe so.
They shuttled us to another less expensive hotel (Park Inn) without any compensation for the change.
