Had a LOVELY stay.

I have always wanted to stay at this very charming place! It is very central to most everything in the French Quarter. The staff is very friendly and accommodating here as well. I loved the cool story about how this hotel is haunted.

The AC was good, the room was clean when I first arrived but housekeeping doesn’t really make it much more clean after your stay. They only change the towels and bins. I didn’t have a bedside lamp or hairdryer in my room which would have been nice. The facilities do need a lot of TLC but the age of the property has a very charming quality and the courtyard is beautiful. I would request to not stay in the lobby rooms as it is incredibly loud. I had to swap rooms for a courtyard room and after that I had a pleasant stay.

Fabulous location! Right in the middle of everything in the Quarter. The hotel staff was wonderful. Our room was spacious, we had good hot water, the beds were comfy and everyone was super sweet to our dogs.

Her attention to detail was impressive, and she always made sure that our room was stocked with fresh towels and amenities. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, our experience at the hotel was nothing short of wonderful.

Excellent hotel great location

This was a cute small hotel with personality. It has a history of being haunted and there are tours that start in the courtyard. Hotel was clean, nice size rooms. Some are indoors and others in the courtyard. Nice seating in courtyard. Excellent lication walking distance to everything. Highly recommend hotel.

It was okay. However, we were traveling with other friends and their rooms were very small with tiny bathrooms. The cleanliness was good but the place overall was run down. There were no amenities except for a run down courtyard. Would not stay again.

Leroy was great and helpful. The hotel is not the Hilton but is a great place and part of the history of New Orleans. I have lived in Louisiana all my life and have been to New Orleans several times in my life. This trip was the best because of the stay at this hotel and Leroy.

It’s a hotel with a lot of charm and history. The staff were so great and the location is perfect to walk to the shops and restaurants. I didn’t like that the pool is a 6 min walk away. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work the greatest. The staff tried to remedy the situation, but it was just a little too warm for our liking. Of course, it’s an original hotel, so it’s not an unexpected problem, just wanted to let people know in case they want to bring a fan, etc. overall, it was a very nice stay.
