Honestly this is not a 4 star resort. I would put it at 2.5-3 at best. The hotel is horribly understaffed. While the staff there are very hard workers, are polite and try their best to make your stay pleasant, management needs to hire more.
The hallways are dirty, rooms were only half cleaned, it’s very loud, front entrance steps were very slippery, and it smelled like cigarette smoke through the hallways. Check in took so long because of the amount of people checking in at the same. Elevators are quite slow, especially during peak hours.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection, but if you weren’t there early you didn’t get fresh food or a seat to sit in. The workout room only has one treadmill and is connected to the kids play area so it is very loud.
Just a warning to anyone going, this hotel is actually at the end of the beach area. It is not beachfront and you have to walk through an alley to reach it. The map on Expedia is incorrect and it is quite a walk to get to any of the main areas up the road.
The room itself was nice, but small. The city views are lovely. Overall, I would not stay here again. I suggest spending a bit more and getting something better. If you’re booking this for the price point, keep in mind you get what you pay for.
