I gave this an extra star because of how caring, understanding and cooperative the staff was (the morning manager, the little late night lady, the helpline woman, and the man who I think is named Kenji?). I'm so grateful I was able to receive a refund.
Despite that, I had no idea what I was getting into. The "lobby" was small, dingy, and smelled wet and mildew-y. When I entered my room, the scent of homeless people hit me- I work retail and encounter the smell often. Which is strange considering they have soap and probably have laundry services... please wash yourselves yall. It was strong, I felt a horrible feeling in my gut. There were roaches running around, and a leak behind the toilet. There was a giant burn mark as big or bigger than my hand on the floor next to the bed. I felt so claustrophobic because it was just so disgusting and filthy. I barely got any sleep because of my fear of the roaches and because the window pane was COMPLETELY REMOVED and someone with knowledge of it could have come in knowing there was a woman alone! I slept with one eye open.
