Check-in took an unusually long time, as if the clerk was on something.
The key I was given was filthy (food and dirt on it).
I was not shown where my room would be, but I was able to find it easily enough.
Curtains were far too thin to ensure room would be dark.
Refrigerator had not been cleaned in a long time.
BATTERY OPERATED smoke alarm was not present.
Sink had been cracked and patched (observed this when cleaning key)
Cobwebs, cockroaches, and multiple old cig burns all over shower tub.
Wi-Fi was completely nonfunctional (it took about 3-4 minutes to connect to the access point, only to get a message that the access point had no Internet connection).
All these issues were observed within the first ten minutes, and I decided to abandon my reservation.
I usually let one or two bad things slide, but not that many!
Clerk didn't even attempt to argue the point (he was now outside, using his vape).
I should try and fight for a refund, but I accept the money is gone.
