Amazing
Amazing hotel and even more spectacular service. We arrived late in the afternoon (already dark out) and we’re unsure of what to make of the area. The exterior photos may be a little rough around the edges, do not let that deter you from booking. The interior is wonderfully decorated making you feel both relaxed and right at home. We were lucky enough to stay in the room with the canal view and greatly enjoyed being able to look out to the canal where gondolas pass by, and simultaneously being surrounded by shops and restaurants. This hotel is very conveniently located only a 15 min walk from the Rialto bridge and another 5mins from St Marcos Square. Even getting to the train station was very convenient once we found the water bus. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Our only regret was that our reservation was only two nights.

3 night stay
Hotel with a difference! No check in desk and only 6 rooms, but met soon after arrival and shown to room(s). Had booked for 2 queen beds as 2 friends travelling. Actually had two rooms, main with queen and other with 2 singles. Easiest way to get to hotel is via alilaguna orange line ( well signed from airport) get off 2nd stop - Guglia- and short walk from there!

Not great this time
I’ve stayed here in summer last year, and it was awesome back then. AC worked great and the room was clean last year. Location is great and there’s a nice cafe right in front for breakfast. This time, however, the floor was dusty to the point dust balls stuck to the bottom of my shoes. It was very hot this summer and the upstairs AC was stuck at 27.5C (81.5 F) no matter how you adjust it. All rooms are upstairs. It was so hot that I could barely sleep. Downstairs entrance area was nice and cool. I will not stay here again.

Delightful escape in Venice!
Location was beautiful and offered a view of the canal and was right across from a wonderful bakery. Room was beautiful, comfortable, safe, and inviting. We had some trouble at first communicating our arrival time so after walking across Venice with our luggage close to an hour no one was there to let us in. We eventually reached the owner, and from that point on we had a delightful stay in Venice!

The room is in a top location and super quiet. rooms are large and we had a great stay. Airconditioning works great. Furniture in the bathroom need a change and the water is not really warm in the shower. It was very hot during our stay, so a colder shower was ok.
