Lyndene Hotel

Lovely couple of days just chilling . Food was lovely

We enjoyed our stay at Lyndene Hotel. Although the bed in the first room allocated to us was wet due to a roof leakage, the room was changed immediately. The changed room was ok - the bed was comfortable, the tv, other furniture and the toilet were good. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the only dinner booked. The location was opposite the beach. However, the hotel needs to improve on the following: - Preventing and getting rid of the strong smell of smoking in all the lobbies. - Staff to be respond better to requests from staff as the welcome information pack was not provided for two days despite requesting for it repeatedly from staff. - Welcome pack should be in every room. - Fans or air conditioner could be provided in bedrooms as our room was a bit warm even in the cold windy weather.

Good hotel, ideal for older couples. Good, clean public areas, rooms clean and well presented. Car parking fair at the front and side ( make sure you park correctly as the Trafic wardens are fast with the tickets. ) As it has 2 stage areas you can hear the acts in your rooms so not for the early to bed type. Lots of steps, narrow landings. Staff seem to be very good. Would definitely use again.

A fantastic value stay. My room was basic and bijou and was not one that you would spend lots of time in. However, the linen and towels were clean and the shower was excellent. I would have no hesitation in staying here again as it was excellent value. Only downside was lack of cleaning of the overhead fan - there was several months of dust up there! Also, I would not like to try and park here during a busy period - there are limited free spaces.
