There were rocks in the beach the food was ok and unless you upgrade the drink package stick to beer but there staff was great and the place had the looks of a 5 star hotel - best beach in cayo coco is Playa Del Pilar - look for hotels near there and definitely do the hop on hop off to get around - at the gaviotas market place there is a guy with a horse drawn carriage highly recommend the ride

They did not find my reservation The did not have any information I needed to pay again for a room That happened to be over 40 $$ cheaper Who dropped the ball ??????

Fantastic place. Beds and bedding could be updated

Beds were uncomfortable. Building was interesting, clean, but could be just a bit better maintained.

Rooftop bar and restaurant had spectacular views with friendly service

Amazing. Hotel is in popular area with beautiful balcony view. Ac worked great very clean and sorta new showers. 5th floor restaurant views are breathtaking. Would definitely pay the extra to stay here.

My husband and i went to camaguey to visit family, so for most of our trip we stayed at a closer spot to them. Our 6 year wedding anniversary landed in the middle of our trip so we decided to spend that night at a nicer place in the heart of the city. We chose the gran hotel and im glad we did. The hotel itself is beautiful. Colonial style, open air lobby and hallways, literally like stepping back in time. Our room was huge with a beautiful balcony looking down at the very busy shopping district and overlooking the city. We were welcomed with 2 cocktails and offered 2 more free ones during our stay. (The mojitos were delicious). Our stay also included a la carte breakfast at the gorgeous restaurant. We really enjoyed this hotel. Everyone was very nice to us. The only negative i would say is the bed is not super comfortable, but it's Cuba, u probably wont find a comfy bed in the whole country! if u stay here make sure u ask for extra pillows. But overall i recommend this hotel. Lots of things to do in this area. Great restaurant about 2 blocks away called "Melangue". We would definitely stay here again!

dit werd niet de overnachting die we verwacht hadden. Even afkoelen in het zwembad? Een klein bad met veel lokale mensen (geen gasten) die overal hun troep achter lieten. Veel herrie. Parkeren in de buurt werd ook een tegenvaller. 10 Cuc en een zogenaamde gids die ons wel voor 40 Cuc de weg had gewezen. Onze 2e overnachting later geannuleerd, dank aan Hotels.com en een andere lokatie geboekt!

Udmærkede værelser. I værelserne ud mod gågaden var der støj fra ventilatorer på nabotaget. Fine toiletforhold. God morgenmad. WI-FI mod betaling i lobbyen var ustabilt.
