A incredible, private villa with outstanding hosts
One of our best stay during our visite at the Amalfi Coast. A small retro villa with incredible views and huge garden. Linda, Salvatore and Danilo booked us lovley restaurants and help us every day to make our day. Thank you very much, you three. The room was spacious and very clean with a nice design. The breakfast with cakes and fresh fruits and juices was delicious. All homemade. We loved it. We are coming back !!!

Holiday of a lifetime!
This hotel, or more specifically the owners, are amazing. We had the best time. From our balcony, we sat under a lemon tree looking down at the amazing views of Positano town. The owners couldn't do enough for us, even arranging a driver to take us to their recommended restaurant - all of which had amazing food. There are a few steps in and around the hotel, but it's part of the Amalfi Coast experience and a great way to burn off all the pasta!

Immerse yourself in nature
We had a wonderful stay at I Giardini Del Sensi. Set in stunning gardens with views over Positano. We loved being so in touch with nature and the local produce at breakfast, hotel beach, and access to the ‘Path of the Gods’ walk were all unexpected and incredible. All the staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful too - thank you! Like the whole area, staying at I Giardini Del Sensi requires a lot of walking, especially stairs to the beach and up to the hotel, which we loved as it was all so picturesque, but definitely something to be aware of. Overall, very good and we would definitely recommend this uniquely located hotel :)

Everything was excellent from the time we arrived to the time we left! Service was fantastic! Linda, Salvatore, and Emma were amazing host and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was also perfect and delicious. Last but not least the view was stunning and it was so nice to sit on the top terrace to watch the sunset and have snacks and champagne:-)

Great service and very clean
The service was excellent and it had an amazing view overlooking the town and the ocean. The breakfast included was also very lovely, providing a selection of foods suitable for vegetarians too. Overall I really enjoyed my time at this hotel and the only fault I can think of is amount of steps it takes to reach the hotel (about 100!)

The property is positioned on the edge of Positano in an elevated position, affording it some spectacular views from the many beautiful garden terraces, and ensuring a more peaceful stay than you would get were you to remain right in the centre of the town. If you want to relax on the beach, it’s a short wander into town to access the main beach; or, do what we did and descend the steps right from the property down to a much quieter, arguably prettier beach. At times we were the only people there and essentially had a private beach to ourselves. For those who enjoy a good walk, the property is ideally located for the Path of the Gods. It even has its own private entrance to the start of the path! We did the whole route and got the bus back from Bomerano. Well worth it for the views. The rooms in the property are a very good size, and are well cleaned and tidied every day. The breakfast that’s put on every morning is delicious. The couple who run the place treated us with refreshments when we arrived which was a nice touch, and continued to ensure that we had the best possible holiday. They went out of their way on several occasions to make our week as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. It’s worth noting that to access the property requires climbing 150 steps through the garden from the main road, not to mention the numerous steps in and around Positano, which may make this an unrealistic proposition for the obese or disabled.

It was a wonderful experience. Linda and Salvatore were really lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was perfect for a couple and the surrounding scenery was breath-taking. Everything was of a very high standard; the accommodation was lovely and clean and the breakfast was superb. I will most definitely return here.

Boutique hillside pension overlooking Positano
Happily found this pension after researching dozens of hotels in Positano and Praiano. Only has 5 rooms, all set back in a garden with partial views of the Amalfi Coast, and located somewhat between Praiano and Positano, a little closer to the latter. We probably could have enjoyed our entire stay just lounging on the property, which includes a solarium, small plunge pool, and several quiet spots in a garden setting away from the hussle and bussle of Positano proper. The staff were very friendly and accommodating starting from arrival, and recommended one of the better meals of our entire trip in Italy. The location was somewhat outside of Positano, so those looking to spend the majority of their time shopping, exploring the town or even heading to the ferry pier for day trips need to consider the time necessary to catch a bus or the cost of taxis, which can quickly mount when starting from this location. The complimentary breakfast here was a great way to start our day. Sadly there was no daily room service at the pension, so one night when we stayed in we ordered pizza. We didn't take advantage, but the pension is also located along the Pathway of the Gods trail, so hiking enthusiasts are able to directly access the trail and trek to the town of Amalfi on foot. Definitely recommend this place to those looking for a slightly different and peaceful Positano stay.

I Giardini Dei Sensi was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. Lovely breakfast spread each morning with stunning views, a pool overlooking Positano, and a short walk to downtown Positano from the bottom of the steps. The staff was kind and very accommodating, arriving early to bring our bags down via lift for an early morning car to the airport. They called us taxis, and shared ideas about what to do. ALSO, you can walk up (like wayyyyy up) stairs to get to the base of the Path of the Gods! Tough, but well worth it.

Stunning views. Far from Positano (25 minute walk). You need to climb a lot of stairs. The suite is spacious and nice but since it is historical, furniture is old and bathroom shower as well. Bed mattress a little bit stiff. My wife has bad allergies and they tried switching us to another room but the one available had not A/C. The staff, Domenico, Aldrich and Christine were incredible. Nice small pool. The beach is "close" (based on Positano standards).

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel and grounds are kept in excellent condition and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel is in a stunning location and is approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of Positano which meant it was quiet at night. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and the room was beautiful, super clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the sun terrace was excellent and we had drinks and snacks on an afternoon. The pool is small but in a lovely setting and again very clean. The hotel is accessed by 150 steps but luggage is taken up via a pulley system, so don't struggle up the steps with it! We would definitely stay here again, thanks for a wonderful stay.

fantastic views
Really enjoyed our stay, staff welcoming friendly and helpful, great attention to detail. lovely accommodation and great breakfast. lots of outside space with fantastic views. only negative, not the hotels fault but make sure you get off the bus at the right stop, nb.. bus stops 4 times in Positano, make sure you exit at the main stop,( 3rd stop) normally there's a crowd waiting to board. Otherwise its a hike. approx. 20mins from main stop.

Top resort in Italy
Absolutely fantastic! The quaint ambiance of Posatino is represented by this resort. From the staff to the maintainence of the property to the private setting, to hillside magnificsense. We were greeted by Marco with a sincere welcome and picturesque setting. Then Dominica served every request , question, and logistic we asked of him. The grounds are beautiful, organic, and refreshing. The cleanliness was superb. The breakfast was diversified and of a higher qualitity, greater offerings, and way above what similar/competitors offer. This was complimented by the personality of the resort and positive attitude to satisfy by the staff. Quite a superb experience with really positive and productive energy!

Fabulous views but a little outside of town
Giardini Dei Sensi was amazing! The views from the hotel could not be beat and there is a gate from the area that leads to the path that gets you to "the path of the gods (hike between Priano and Positano)". The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is because it is not in the town center area, so it is about a 20-30 minute walk to get to the town center of Positano.

Nice hotel. Nice views.
The service was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room was really nice with a great view. I just loved everything about my stay. The hotel is on a mountain so you have to climb lots of stairs to get there and there are no elevators, but that's typical for Positano.

2/10 Poor

Horrible experience!
We had an error when we booked and ended up with one room, and one bed for a family of 4. We were told that we would be charged (a lot) to add one bed to the room to accommodate us. The staff seemed panicked and blamed us for the mistake....and acted like we put them WAY out. The following day, a manager reduced the additional price. But we still paid, and they should have done that to begin with. Even if we owned the error (not sure how it happened), their customer service and reaction was awful. Further, while the view is beautiful, the location is up 146 steps and not a close walk to anything (they only provide breakfast). The pool is like a glorified bird bath and the room was nothing special. The shower was a mess....it wasn't completely enclosed and sprayed water all over the bathroom. We saw some amazing places to stay when we toured around the area.....much better alternatives to this place! PS...this is the first bad review I've ever submitted and I travel a LOT!

Phenomenal wedding renewal
This villa is amazing! The owners were wonderful and even though I booked through Expedia they helped me plan my wedding renewal. I could not be more happy with my experience! The views were breathtaking, more importantly Ingrid, my planner made a proposal of what they could do for me. The ceremony set up was beautiful, the flowers exquisite, the violinist amazing, and he took requests. Not only was the photographer they booked very talented, he came back the next day with huge prints and also gave me digital copies of all 430 pictures. Our chantilly cake and prosecco on the terrace afterward were soooo good! The most memorable act of service was when all the restaurants closed at 8:30 and there was literally no where to eat, the owner went into the kitchen and made us a home cooked meal that was delicious. We were so grateful! Fantastic customer service!
