Good hotel Great location

It was more than acceptable in terms of cleanliness and rooms.Dinner very good as is location.Breakfast bit of a nightmare,wonder if they were short of staff or a chef.First mornjng it was lukewarm second morning very very slow to arrive

Stayed 1 night. Web site show water view. We got view of shop and flat roof with wires. Extremely expensive for no view. Totally uncomfortable bed. Kept rolling off. So had to sleep with my head at the foot end. Got tea coffee biscuit hot chocolate and bottle of water. Breakfast was ok. Service in bar a little slow. Receptionist dog was barking. A very drunk local customer Kept annoying another guest. Staff saw and done nothing until they said to staff to either get rid or we will leave. He left but came back 20 min later sat with another local and budged cigarettes from him all night. For the cost i thought it was outrageous. Would definitely not return. The only plus was lovely sitting by the water for tea.

Beautiful views from the restaurant & bar area. Warm cosy feel to the hotel managing Covid appropriately. Staff very friendly. Room nicely decorated very clean. Food is excellent

We had a room overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and very helpful

All staff were very helpful and the hotel was fully on board with Covid 19 rules. All staff and guests wearing face masks inside. Very efficient bar service and breakfast was superb

I would recommend booking a room with a balcony overlooking the Broads. We did not eat an evening meal here due to poor reviews about service. Staff serving breakfast were pleasant but must agree service was a little slow. On the Sunday morning staff were more bothered about a bird that had flown in to the dining room than serving the guests!

Great location,very clean , staff very helpful BUT managerial disorganisation ruined what should be a very good hotel. Be advised also bedrooms on first floor,no lift, and therefore UNSUITABLE for people with mobility issues

Think they should have either taken less bookings in the restaurant or had more staff, very disorganised and an hour and a half wait for meals not acceptable , lovely hotel have stayed for the last three years but unsure I would stay again as the service for the money charged was severely lacking need a good reorganise

Majority of the the staff polite and friendly, rooms comfortable and food good. But spoilt by the last night in the bar, my wife and I wanted another drink so I approached the bar to order a drink, the barman told me there was no bar service due to corona virus rules and someone would take our order at our table, fine. After 15 minutes nobody came to take our order, during which time two men who appeared to be locals ordered at the bar and paid for their drinks. To add to this the manager sat at the bar with a young child and another staff member drinking. I assume they have two sets of rules.
