Son Caliu Apartamentos

Stayed in the apartment area of the hotel. All 30 apartments had a sea view, ours being within 20 metres. The small beach was fantastic and extremely well kept with a couple of beach restaurants serving delicious food. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean with maid service daily and the buffet breakfast is the best, everything you could wish for is on offer. The hotel's location is ideal with the busier nightlife of Palma nova a 10 minute stroll to the west and the fabulous harbour and high end restaurants of portals nous about a 25 minute walk to the east. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and the location is superb. Hoping to return in September.

Stayed in apartment, great position & sea view. Peaceful and pleasing. Hotel facilities fabulous, breakfasts superb. Staff all excellent. Will definitely return!

The hotel is lovely.. the building for the apartments is about 200m away. The building is pretty ugly but the apartments are excellent.. Big longer with a functional kitchen. Bathroom was modern and very clean. Bed was massive and comfortable. The apartment is front line with a very pretty beach in a lovely little cove. There is a cool beach bar next door which is pretty but very expensive! I ate at the hotel and it was fine.. As a guest of the apartments I could use the spa, gym and pool. For the money an absolute bargain

Only complaint is the fridge which was very smelly. Lucky I had some organic essential lavender oil with me and placed some drops in a glass of water and then put the glass in the fridge. But I had to clean the shelves inside fridge to removed old stains from either milk or yoghurt which I suspect gave the foul smell. Not what you want to do upon arrival in the evening, to have to clean someone else's dirt from the fridge.

A delightful hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. This was a lovely time of year to go, before the summer season really gets going even if it did mean not everything was open

The Son Caliu resort is brilliant and the hotel's facilities are fantastic. We travelled with a 14 month old toddler and you can use the pool between 8am and 2pm which is useful, although afternoon would have been better for us personally. The apartment is a good size with a master bedroom, bathroom (shower only) and kitchen/dinner/living room. There is also a sofa bed so we slept in the lounge as our daughter is a noisy sleeper!! The only downside is that the kitchen is not amazingly well equipped and doesn't have a few useful things like a collinder, cheese grater, peeler, or scissors and you need to take your own cloths, soap, oil and salt/pepper for the kitchen/bathroom but it is otherwise fine for a short family break. We would definitely return again.

Surprised that there was a charge per day for the room safe. No toiletries in bathroom.

Lovely apartment overlooking beach. Apartments and grounds well kept. Staff in hotel couldn’t be nicer. All very knowledgeable and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing all round

Overlooking beach west facing and excellent level of ammenities. Short stay to see friends but wish we had stayed longer at the price we got from Hotels.com
