Sunset Inn & Cottages

We had a great time. Went for an Anniversary getaway. Good location. 100 yards from beach. Not a lot of restaurants close by. However not a lot of traffic either which made it nice.

We had such a great time! The Lookout Penthouse was everything we hoped for and more! It's a rather large one bedroom apartment that overlooks the Sunset Beach Pavilion, with views of the sparkling water from the living room windows. Full kitchen. Plenty of comfy places to sit or curl up with a book (or watch some Netflix). The king bed was much more comfortable than I have come to expect from vacation rentals (I've paid much more for far less comfortable nights of sleeplessness!!). We spent the days walking barefoot to the beach, swimming in the beautiful aquamarine Gulf (nice and warm!), and cooking delicious meals in the kitchen (had everything we needed). We never left the area, which was precisely what we needed. A few days to unplug and live well in our favorite spot in all of Florida. All of the Cottages are cute, and different. The Lookout has the most space, and the views of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. Highly, highly recommend!

This is the second time my family has stayed at Sunset Inn & Cottages. We loved it so much last year that we decided to go back again this year. The Stones Throw cottage met all our needs, Sandra was an absolute delight and we enjoyed every second on the beautiful beach situated just across the street from the property. The location is quiet and safe. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. We highly recommend Sunset Inn & Cottages!

It was a little deceiving when booking as it made it look like it was a cottage where it was really just a motel room. Don’t usually care about the room but the bathroom was so small there was no way for my girlfriend to do her hair or makeup, let alone shave legs or anything. Location is good, across from beach and Sandra was great but if you are looking for a place that is descent size look somewhere else.

Great staff great location . Twisted my ankle and they accomadated myself and Amanda with close 1st floor room.We'll be back

This was a perfect getaway place. Quaint, clean, retro, stylish, close to beach (literally across the street)...the staff was amazing and helpful! We will definitely go back!!

What a Gem of a place. It's located across the street from the beach pavilion in Sunset Beach, one of the jewels of the St. Pete beaches. It's off the beaten path, which means no crowds, no through traffic, no loud resorts, and beautiful pines lining the beach. We had a late, after-hours check-in that went off without a hitch. My wife and I stayed in #2, which is the smallest room we had, but it was charming and perfectly fine for us. I checked in with Sandra the next morning and she could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. She comped us beach chairs and an umbrella which were great for our visits to the beach. I wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back.
