Waterhead Hotel

We were not informed of the poor access. There is no lift and we were placed on the second floor. I had to carry the babies pram up and down 2/3 flights of stairs every time we went out. The rooms have no temperature control and the fan was neither use nor ornament. It was also noisy. There was then a power cut on the second night so we couldn’t use the fan anyway. All in all a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay for £125 a night room only. Would not recommend this hotel.

Our family was gathering for a birthday celebration and this stay was booked some months before. There was a slight problem with the reservation but this was speedily resolved with courtesy. We were made very comfortable and all the staff were lovely. It was a great stay.

Very comfortable room, well equipped, excellent bed and bed linen.

Hotel has a fabulous location and the rooms are clean and comfortable with a good amount of space. The pizzas from the outdoor pizza oven are lovely and the bar staff are great. Only negative is the corridors seem to have a spider problem but thankfully no issues with this in our room. Special mention to one of the management team who drove us along to my friends wedding at a nearby hotel when we couldn't get a taxi - you're a hero!!
