Overall I would definitely recommend this villa!
The upsides were that it was a short stroll away from a very pretty walk on the beach, a grocery store was also relatively accesible by walking, the room was beautiful and had a canopy for the mosquitos, the kitchen was big, the owner was nice, and the rate was fair.
The downsides of it were that you need to take a bus to go almost anywhere, which can be an added expensive and make you feel more remote. The room also had almost no airflow, so it got stuffy in there quickly, and mosquitos were definitely a concern. You had to pay extra for air conditioning (which I wasn't willing to do.) Be prepared for roosters that crow at all hours. The room itself does not have a view, but there is a part of the villa that does.
