The Quarters on King

Location was good but loud loud music across the street the whole trip. Day and night the walls shuck in one bedroom. Unit was in need of paint and new furniture.

This was a great place for time in Charleston during a pandemic. Confusion over our reservation but all in all was a good fit. Spacious apartment like set up with full kitchen was great for bringing in take out. Also, the property was doing terminal cleans upon checkout. Garbage disposal was not working but all in all a good spot.

Will never recommend. They straight up take advantage of the location. Being right on King St. is great but not worth it at all. I would have rather walked a mile and stayed somewhere else. Management clearly doesn't care about these rentals. They're more concerned with the real estate side of their business which is fine but they should just get let someone own the rentals that care. The people in the office seemed annoyed and bothered by our very basic questions/needs. The overall state of the loft was subpar. 2 light bulbs burnt out in the bathroom, toilet seat not cleaned (WE cleaned it), bedroom floor not vacuumed, extra towels just tossed on bed, obvious the shower was not cleaned as the last guests soaps were still in there with the caps off. One of the most surprising and ridiculous parts was that they conveniently failed to mention that you're not allowed to turn the air down under 72! 3rd floor loft, in the middle of summer in SOUTH CAROLINA and you don't allow your guests to control their AC? There is a note saying the AC will freeze and stop working. Well, for what you are paying to stay there, I think they could probably afford to get that fixed.

Property was decent, it could have been cleaner. Informing guests of no elevator is important. Very communicative! Big plus. Overall it looked a bit worn. If I had not received the room under the lower rates (covid I think helped with lower prices due to no travel) I would have been upset paying more than NV 200$ /night. It was worth only about that comparatively speaking.

This property is tucked in the middle of the action on King St. The units are spacious and beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable. As long as you are physically able to walk up and down the stairs each day to get to and from your unit, you'll love it here. The parking lot available to rent is a 5 minute walk from the property. This was our second stay at Q on K. The only negative thing was that the previous occupant's trash was accidentally left in our kitchen trash bins. The unit was clean otherwise. I left a message with the manager on duty and he took care of the issue as soon as he could. We will definitely stay here again, it's great for small families.

I love the location and the style of the room. Beautiful place.Lots is noise early in the am because it’s on King St.

This is the weirdest bootleg not-a-hotel I've ever stayed in. It's like staying in a model home. It looks gorgeous! But it's clearly not meant for people to live there. First of all - the units are nearly inaccessible. There are two steeps staircases with uneven stairs. I nearly tripped and died, as did one of my travelling companions (on a completely different trip up the stairs). Inexplicably, the staircases and hallways were being painted while we were there which made it even harder to get up and down. You also need to be able to climb up stairs to get to the bedrooms in the units. The units themselves are lovely, but the walls are thin. The headboards aren't attached to the beds (so they clang loudly). There are weird things like - clearly the tv mount wasn't the right size so it's been very visibly cut. There were about 12 lotions in my bathroom, but only one conditioner bottle (sample size). The mattress was mush, and not very comfortable. There was something bizarre about my reservation too. They gave us the wrong room and then tried to get us to leave it before the end of our stay was up. They charged my card twice in rapid succession ($720 and then $740) triggering a fraud alert from my bank. All-in-all, this is not a real hotel. It's fine if you know what you're getting into. But if you have access issues at all, this is not the place for you.

Loved how it was right on King Street as well as it sleeping 6 people, enough space for everyone with a full kitchen.

This property was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and ready to help with anything. Location is great, right on King St. where all the excitement is with shops, food and entertainment.
