Beautiful setting and views, the owners are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home, and the full cooked breakfasts and the dinner options were excellent. The room we stayed in (part of the main homestead) was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.

Ideal for romantic getaway
It was perfect. Ken is the penultimate host and the breakfast was sublime. I made myself overfull with the amazing breakfast of hash brown, scrambled eggs, fried tomato, mushrooms and bacon with juice. The food was cooked on the veranda fresh on the BBQ. Due to using booking via here and another booking directly with an added losing internet our room was double booked but we were upgraded to a cabin which was a nice surprise when we arrived. The grounds are so beautiful as is the house and it’s so quiet. Want to return in about 6 months and this time stay for a couple of nights to really take it in. Everything in our eyes was perfect.

The perfect break
We had not realised the beauty of the Mary Valley until this visit. We were welcomed personally by Ken & Cathy and immediately felt at home with their warmth and enthusiasm to make our stay as perfect as possible. The scenery from our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities clean and tidy. We were served breakfast on the deck outside our room at a time of our convenience overlooking a brilliant mountain view. The property itself has been created by the owners to showcase the views, and it is large, with a duck pond and wonderful gardens. There are also cottages available. We could not have been happier with our stay at Amamoor Homestead and will certainly be recommending it to friends and family. The friendliness of Ken and Cathy only added to our enjoyment.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the homestead. The bed in the Amamoor suite was very comfortable and the suite itself was impeccably clean. The huge veranda, with private seating areas adjoining our suite, provided a nice place to relax and enjoy the views. The home-cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious. Mary Valley is worth a visit and this BNB provided a perfect place for a weekend get-away.

I booked an overnight stay at Amamoor Homestead for my parents as a Christmas gift, I also accompanied it with Mary Valley Rattler tickets which departed from Amamoor. This was a fabulous/easy trip to plan and would highly recommend the Homestead. My parents informed me that they were extremely friendly hosts and the location was fabulous. They did tell me that they wished they had spent more time and spotted some Koalas. Thank you for making their visit to Amamoor so relaxing!
