Hotel Schiller

The stay and location was really great. Finding parking was a challenge. The bakery across the street was great. I would recommend this hotel

Cute little property that is conveniently located. Super friendly staff as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. Only one tiny light in there, and too dark to put on makeup. Otherwise great! :)

The property is dated but charming. The room was basic but everything functioned as expected. Definitely a solid budget property with a great location

It’s nice and close to the center but still bit outside and you need to cross several roads first that is not super-ideal. But being in the heart in like 10 mins is still great! Room is OK except of one specific thing: The curtains only cover 2/3 of the window and are anyway useless as the light goes fully through! Having dark curtains (full coverage) is what I would expect for a good sleep.

Clean, spacious hotel in an excellent location close to town center. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Freiburg.

Good stay, advertised parking but there was none upon arrival. We had to park on a neighborhood street and move the car by a certain time to avoid a ticket

Hotel was next to a busy road. We visited in summer and as there is no air conditioning and there was no fan in the room, we opened the window on the first night - road noise all night meant we go no sleep. We asked for a fan on the second night which we were given but in summer this should already be available in the room. Breakfast was disappointing for the price (not included as standard in the room rate), and there was limited choice by German ‘buffet’ standards. The bread was dry and hard, and all of the speck and wurst had gone by 8:45 so we missed out on the first morning. If you do stay, we recommend you skip the hotel breakfast and stead eat in the lovely bakery across the road.

We needed an overnight stay close to the Old Town and this was perfect. Clean room, bathroom with bathtub. Very short walk to Old Town. Negatives: no parking, you have to park on street, pay parking meters. Our room was on street side which is quite busy. But overall well worth the price

Great location. Some may say needs renovation but it keeps some of the old history of the building and the location (squeaky floors, etc.). This was in easy walking distance of the old town with lots of restaurants, etc.

Hotel viejo, nada que resaltar, deberia ser mas barato por como esta. En mi viaje de 15 dias por diferentes ciudades fue el mas feo.y el precio igual que los demas.
