There was renovation going on we were unaware of ahead of time. Also the game room was closed. Room was brand new and clean & comfortable. There was ice all built up on the stairs by the entrance near our room. A shovel and salt and sand mix as if they know this happens but didn’t take the time to do anything about it. I used the mix to cover the thick layer of ice. Very surprised they wouldn’t chip or make an effort to remove it. It’s almost as if they are saying here do it yourself so I did!

Beautiful grounds, it’s gorgeous by the lake. The rooms are very clean. There was a wedding going on the night that I stayed, but it was over by 10 PM and even while it was going on it wasn’t overly loud. Great location in Laconia only about an hour drive to the Kancamagus Highway. Would definitely stay again.
