I checked in at about 9:00 pm, just wanted to go to bed because I had been awake since 4:00 am. The lobby was filled with wet kids running around, leaving puddles and lots of adults. My room, 115, was one door away from the lobby, across from the lounge, elevators and boardered by the vending machines. As I entered my room, I could hear all the conversations in the lounge. The bathroom had hair in the bathtub and someone's else's bathing suit hanging on the door. The toilet was dirty. I went back to the front desk to ask to be moved. The hotel was full due to a wrestling tournament so that wasn't possible. The lady at the front desk assured me that they have "quiet time" beginning at 10:00 pm. At 10:40, someone started vacuuming the hall and moving the tables and chairs across the floor in the lounge. At 11:10, it began to sound like there was a mosh pit in the room above me. Between about 1:00 and 2:30, someone kept slamming a door near the front desk. At 2:16, the furniture in the lounge was rearranged, again. At 3:00, a loud group, arguing by the elevators. At 4:00, more vacuuming. ZERO SLEEP. The manager refunded the room and told me they don't usually use it, but the GM says they have to if they are fully booked. They indicated they are fully aware of the issues, have had previous complaints, yet care about money more than the comfort of the paying guest.
