Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buda Austin South

The walls are literally paper-thin. I was exhausted and tried to get to sleep early, but the men in the room next to me were talking for hours. I could have been in the room with them as I could hear every cough and every conversation. I had to put in ear buds with calming music in my ears to NOT hear them. Also, no microwave or fridge in rooms.

Check in was very convenient and I was very appreciative that I was allowed to check in early knowing I would be coming back late that evening. Beds were comfortable. AC stayed exactly where I wanted it. Best night sleep I have had in weeks

I was a bit confused by the website showing really only the suites, so when I got to my room, it looked very small. A more comfortable chair would be appreciated, but there is no room for one. The bathroom had another surprise - shorts and boxer briefs left on the floor behind the door. That does not make me think things are very clean. An open bar of soap was also left out on the counter. Strange, but I had paid for 4 nights with no hope of refund so I stayed. Breakfast was mainly carbs, but the fruit was nice.

No bedspread and no blankets in room. Got a little chilly during the night. Also carpeting in halls was in very poor shape. Big holes!

I cannot give this place a good review, it was chaotic as soon as I walked into the door. I know some things cannot be helped. The computer system apparently went down so I had to wait an hour and a half to get into a room, that’s unacceptable since we travel for all different reasons. The computers apparently did not come up until 9:30-10:00 last night but the whole time we were waiting it was 30 minutes, that time would pass and another 30 minutes and so on. They had us fill out a paper and finally gave us a key. They took my CC information and immediately charged me that’s for sure. We get to the room and the skirting of the bed is disgusting, the room was half clean, there was hair on my sheets, hair in the bathtub. I ask for shampoo and conditioner and they are out. I get up this morning to get breakfast. They only have waffles, cereal and breads. They had one banana and one apple. They butter and cream cheese were not individual wrapped so it’s a community commodity so everyone has touched it. I know this sounds extreme but it’s all true. I haven’t experienced anything like this from a 3 star ⭐️ hotel. I normally stay where I can get my points but due to availability I wasn’t able to. I cannot say that for the price and all the issues I would ever stay again. I forgot to mention they called my room asking if anyone was occupying the room and then at 9:30 after I am asleep they knock on the door asking the same questions and my name again. It’s craziness!!

Great stay. The only issue I had was that they were out of shampoo. I had to go to HEB and buy shampoo so I could take a shower.

Short staffed, but the staff did their best to stay on top of things.

Fairly new, clean, by i 35 but not noisy, close to heb and cabelas

Hotel is clean inside and out, staff very friendly, right next to several restaurants and Cabelas outdoor store. My only complaint bed a little to firm for me but you can’t have everything. I will definitely book here again.
