10/10 Exceptional
I was held hostage in Houston while my van was being repaired. I needed a cheap hotel because my repair was going to be expensive. This hotel had a customer rating of 8. Good enough for me. The room was clean. No paint peeling, no mold. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It took for-ev-er for hot water to come out of the shower until I learned to have it come out of the bathtub faucet first. The fridge froze everything, so maintenance quickly came and swapped out the fridge for another one. My only complaint is that Hotels.com has it listed as South Houston Inn and Suites, when it is actually a Red Roof Inn. I initially had trouble finding the building. The staff, from the front desk clerk to the manager to the maintenance guy to the housekeepers, were all wonderful. The hotel’s property is fully fenced and gated, which made me feel very safe for the 5-6 days I was there.
