Hostel with hotel quality

Second time i stayed here. It has everything you need, clean room, basic bathroom , fast check in and out, close to the metro and walking distance to the train station, the place is huge ,location not very pretty but hey ,I don’t complain. We paid around half the money compared to other hotels. Will def.come again.

Surprisingly, nice Hostel and quite large. The toilet and shower are in the room as opposed to down the hall. Nice that it is shared with less people, but also adds noise to the room. The room is VERY hot and stuffy and can barely open the window to get fresh air. My mattress has springs poking my body. Hostel has a guest kitchen and towels are provided, even though Expedia does not have them listed as an amenity. So that was a nice surprise. Easy to lose your way in the many hallways. Quiet hours are not enforced.

Check in wasn’t good at all. Everyone was encourage to use the self service terminals however I never actually saw anyone successfully check in this way. Took a long time to get a room, went up to it and it hadn’t been cleaned. Went back to reception, given another room, same problem. On the third attempt I actually got a clean/ready one. Hotel needs air conditioning as having windows open is noisy

Nice for what we paid!

We stayed in a family room. Twinbed plus bunk bed, shower plus toilet. It was 23-25 degrees outside but inside it was 30... no ventilation or air con. But we only paid 1000 kr per night so its fine. I would like to tell the manager rhat they need more people in the recetion at check in. Too long waiting time. The selfcheck in did not work. The people working in the reception was nice.

Decent stay for a good price

The hostel is in a very convenient location. There's a massive grocery store a tiny walk away, an S-Bahn station an even shorter walk away where you can hop one stop to Hamburg HBF. I was positively surprised at how modern and clean everything was at the hostel from the moment I stepped in. The layout of the hostel is a bit confusing, and some elevators couldn't go down to ground floor for some reason. Unfortunately I was made to feel a bit dumb for not knowing if I wanted to check in at the desk or myself. One of the employees tried to tell me how annoying it is to check in at the desk or something, and I told him I'd never stayed at a hotel or hostel before so I didn't know what to do, which is why I came up to the desk. Luckily the employee next to him stepped up and helped me through the process and he was great. Rented a towel as I was travelling light, very reasonable price. In the room my main issue was that there are individual lights and usb outlets for each bed but mine weren't working. Before checking out I noticed the issue was as simple as my bed not being plugged into the wall for some reason? Otherwise the room was great, toilet was really spacious and clean, shower was a bit tight but my shoulders are wider than average, so that has something to do with it. The pillow is nice and big, the blanket is good too. Bedframe could be less squeaky and mattress a bit thicker but minor complaints, really. Lots of little stools to sit on when not in bed.
