Excellent hotel to stay. However, room service has to be 24/7 to become better

Air conditioning in room didn’t work. Despite telling staff each night, and being fixed, it kept breaking. Resulting in terrible and no sleep over three nights

Staff, location, and room were all excellent. I've stayed in other Lazimpat hotels, and this one is the best value for money.

Very friendly, informative staff. Clean rooms and amazing choices of food from the restaurants. Would recommend it if u are staying in Kathmandu, as it is easy to travel to different parts of the city from the hotel.

The staff were the best I have ever experienced. So helpful and polite. The whole stay was brilliant. If this place had a pool I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Katmandu

Great location. Friendly helpful staff especially at reception and restaurant, this made our stay here a good experience.. Clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant has good breakfast and great selection on dinner menu. Would stay here again.

Stayed here overnight after a long drive through the mountains. Late check-in but was accommodated by the manager to have a late supper when their dining room was fully booked. Was upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the mountains. The rooms are large, nicely appointed with modern fixtures. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. A good selection of cuisine on the menu and the prices are reasonable. This hotel is good value for your money. Most of all, the service was beyond my expectations from check-in to finding us a driver to tour the city to accommodating for late checkout. I plan to stay here whenever I return to Kathmandu and will recommend it to my friends.

Overall the place is nice and clean. Well maintained. Our room was a bit noisy but because of the location that cannot be helped. I could also hear the alarms and the phones of my neigbors so sound proofing should be reviewed. All in all it wasn't too bad though. I did not like the huge number of cameras all over the place. While I do understand the need for cameras in strategic places for the safety of the guests, this safety should not be achieved at the cost of the guests' privacy. I am a frequent traveller but will not stay at this hotel again for this reason. Safety and privacy should be balanced reasonably.

If you go to Kathmandu, Hotel Ambassador is a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect. Not in the heart of the tourist district but an easy taxi ride to all the sites and quieter. The room is clean and very comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast is sensational. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this hotel!
