The property has three bedrooms and a central kitchen/dining area. The room we booked was the upstairs room, called Apollo. This is the cheapest of the rooms and has a lowish ceiling so that tall people probably wouldn't get on with it that well. It has little or no natural light. It has a frosted glass wall which gives perfect privacy but lets light in from the central area so that it isn't claustrophobic.
We were offered a free upgrade after the first night into one of the downstairs rooms, Zeus. We welcomed this as the upstairs room had its limitations - though it is perfectly functional for a night or two.
Zeus is a large room (described as a suite) with a larger bed, a bath in the room, ensuite, and a small balcony overlooking the road. It was altogether nicer and the owner kindly upgraded us once he knew it wouldn't have other guests.
The central area has a kitchen, fridge and dining table. We didn't actually use these at all. More relevant to our stay was the water cooler which provided safe cool water on tap and was very useful.
The property is accessed via keycodes that were sent to us in advance. Adil, the owner, was consistently attentive and responded to our WhatsApps pretty much instantly.
Though it is close to the station area and there are restaurants close by, the room itself was not excessively noisy. It was a good location for the train and bus station in central Palermo as well as being only a short walk to the market and other sights.
