Nice hotel but a distance from Basseterre.
This hotel is an amazingly unused resource. We understand it’s only got a small beach but we needed somewhere to stay on the island and it was perfect for us albeit a little far from Basseterre town Centre. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we couldn’t fault their attitude. The room was huge even though we only wanted a room we ended up with a suite and it was spacious with a really comfortable bed and air-conditioning in all rooms. We had a hire car which was essential.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel, some of the facilities we were not able to use but we understand it was low season. The staff were brilliant especially Kimberly on reception, nothing was too much trouble for her to sort out. We would recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again in the future.

The design of the room was nice. However, it was nit properly cleaned & we did not receive the best service. Also, the restaurant closes too early.

I booked the room late that evening for a one night stay did when through all the details so I ended up booking for 2 person instead of 3. Got there checked in then I was told it a 2 person booking not 3 because the room is a 2 person room I ended up having to pay $40 plus US dollars for the same room, then later that evening in the same room had to deal and a Big ( Roach ) plus babies.I leave the evidence on the floor plus I has photos and videos do you which my me to share them?

I like the idea of the away from the busy busy life, but my reason for being in St. Kitts required me to be in the capitol and transportation is not ready available from this property.

The property lacked vendor machines/snack options. There is no close place to pick up anything that you forgot and the restaurant closes at 8 pm.

Ramada St. Kitts: Magical stay in the countryside
This property is beautiful….out in the countryside for sure with a spectacular view of neighboring island Eustatia….wow! We had a two bedroom suite with its own pool!!! The rain shower was wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. The pool is huge, and since there’s no beach access on the property, the pool is everything. The jacuzzi will be heated soon….they are working on it. One set of bushes blocks the view from the best bed in the hot tub to the neighboring islands, but those could easily be removed.
The restaurant is so beautiful and the food is fantastic (the pumpkin soup is worth the drive alone). They’ve added a pizza oven and a food truck for lots of options. The bar staff is incredible…so much fun! A beautiful and huge property that would be so fun for a family gathering or a friend retreat or a couple getaway!

Great staff but shoddy construction
The staff were wonderful but the building construction is appalling. While newly opened after long delays the place is already showing wear. Ramada calls it a luxury resort and the lobby lives up to its claim but the rooms themselves were hastily built with no attention to detail. For example why is Astro turf on the ground in a lush tropical island—even on the fence around the fully plastic play space? While very spacious rooms, the halls feel like dormitories and our suite smelled of dirty diapers—possibly from poorly ventilated plumbing.

Hospitality, look somewhere else
Published as a resort but no resort feeling.
When I arrived I was told that the resort was under renovation and on low capacity - which was not mentioned in the hotel profile. As the remote location on the North shore and I didn’t have a car I didn’t have any other options.
This meant a “resort” with:
- restaurant was closed
- pool was dirty
- spa/bubble pool was not functioning
- gym was closed
- there was no staff in the evening
Other hiccups for my stay
- tv didn’t work
- the bathroom smelt like surage
- The lock on one of the terrace didn’t work (not great when you are alone at the resort)
- lots of mosquitoes (also in the room) which I didn’t experience any other places in St. Kitts & Nevis
Further it has to be noticed that the resort is on the northern shore of Saint Kitts even so there is no beach or town with facilities nearby so you have to rely on the “resort” facilities.
For this inconvenience (which management didn’t agree it was) the offered compensation in form of paying for the bus (USD 2) back to Basseterre.
So if you look for a resort experience and hospitality you should seriously rethink if you wanna not Ramada in your holiday plans

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. However, I had a few issues that individually would be ok but compounded I was very disappointed.
The room had a very bad odor. It smelled like sewage as the scent was in the whole room but concentrated by the toilet. They changed my room after I complained.
The restaurant (only one available) was closed and after 9 going for breakfast was told they were closed awaiting staff. After being so pissed I checked out immediately. The front desk suggested I try the restaurant again as they saw my disappointment. After going to the restaurant I waited very long for staff to take my order. They never came back. I walked out much dissatisfied.
It was my daughter’s birthday and it was partially ruined due to the lack of facilities.
The hotel seems to be barely operational and it shows.
Big up to the front desk staff for their assistance. They really tried but the hotel seems to be non-operational and not ready to accommodate guest looking for hotel/resort experience.
