The bedroom and bathroom were both clean and well maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and courteous, engaging pleasantly in the sort of light conversation one appreciates in a British setting.
The room itself was of a suitable size for a single traveller, and I particularly appreciated the complimentary water in the fridge. The tea and coffee station was a thoughtful addition, with a reasonable selection including both decaffeinated and regular options, though it would have benefitted from a more thorough dusting.
There were a few minor areas that could be improved. The window appeared somewhat dirty, and a slightly larger bin would have been more practical. The hallways were rather narrow, which was manageable with a backpack but might prove inconvenient for guests travelling with larger suitcases.
The shower was excellent and very enjoyable to use, although it may benefit from a touch more attention to limescale removal.
One point of note relates to the deposit. At the time of booking, the stated pre authorisation amount differed from the £100 that was ultimately required, which could be clarified for future guests.
Overall, the property was in good condition and provided a pleasant stay, with only minor refinements needed to enhance the experience further.
