voco™ Kirkton Park Hunter Valley , an IHG Hotel

Overall is good, just a few minor things to improve to make it a better experience. Cleanness (found hairs on the towels, table and sofa in the restaurants are not well cleaned), both locks of the fly screen and the door of the balcony are broken, cannot be locked.

The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious and well equipped with basketball and tennis courts, indoor swimming pool and spa and pigs & piglets to feed. But it really is the staff that make it - they were so accomodating friendly & helpful! Thank you for making our first holiday with our little one so amazing

The pictures look much better than the property itself. I asked for a strong extra hot coffee what I got was a warm overloaded milky coffee. The food was below average. There was a terrible smell of sewage in our bathroom. The hot top jets were not working properly... Certainly this place is not worth what we paid per night ( low $500 for a typical room ), and there was no drinking water in the room. I would not go there again and would not recommend the place. The good: nice garden, beautiful landscape.

There is no full view photo of the bathroom, it turn out to be new and clean, and big enough. I like the colour scheme and decor of the bedroom and the view of private garden. The central red rose garden is also lovely.

Staff were extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our room had a drippy tap and the air conditioner didn't work that well but, it was clean and tidy.

Absolutely loved our overnight stay at Kirkton Park. We had two families in two rooms and we felt very comfortable and not out of place with our little ones running around. The rooms are divine, roomy and comfortable and the kids loved the pool and feeding the animals on site. The scenery is breathtaking and our breakfast was delicious. The best part was quality barista coffee in the morning that we didn't have to leave the property to find! We are looking forward to going back and are tempted to renew our vowels after visiting this hotel.

Lovely and spacious accomdatiom set on beautiful grounds. Plenty for the kids to do with a tennis court, basketball court, walking trails and pigs to feed. Excellent staff. Good breakfast.
