The Buckeye Cabin is a rustic cabin nestled in the woods of the Hocking Hills Canoe Livery close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. This is a studio cabin with a Queen-sized bed and Twin Bunk Beds. We supply a coffee pot, electric skillet and some of the basic cooking utensils. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the cab is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers a fire pit and picnic table. Overlook the Hocking River. Bring a fishing pole to reel in the perfect catch! State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
20 minutes drive to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge. Relax and watch a beautiful sunset over the hocking river of Southeastern, Ohio. Lake Logan is located within 1 mile for some great fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much needed R&R. Take a 20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!
The Buckeye is located near many State Parks that offer thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. If guests venture 9 miles in the opposite direction, they will run into Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.
