The hotel was clean, and the inside was pretty.
We arrived at 3 for our scheduled checkin, and they said they had to "see if a room was available" (it was).
We were in the area for a show, so we checked in and then weren't back to the room until later that night.
The room had a pull out queen bed that two of our party used. It was horrible, lumpy, thin, small, SQUEAKY, with two thin sheets on it. Neither of the people who used it were able to sleep. They ended up putting couch cushions on the ground in an attempt to get any rest.
During our dinner at the restaurant in the lobby, there was a small gnat in one of our waters. We politely alerted the server and just asked for a new water, but it's worth mentioning.
We received an email asking for feedback from the hotel, and wrote what we did here. They ended up calling us and telling us that they had had multiple complaints about the pull out bed already. (Why are you still selling the rooms with them then? And charging us an extra $200 on our room rate to use it?). They wouldn't comp us anything, not on the room, or the dinner. They just apologized and said we could visit again and they'd offer us a discount on a future stay. We won't be back and we won't recommend it to friends or family.
