Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark

Resort is great, however, having to pay $10 a day per vehicle to park is a little I sure especially after paying the rates for this hotel. Parking should be free. How many people are going to walk to the beach to stay for a weekend? None!

Resort looks good from afar, is old poorly maintained. Room was pleasant and clean to a minimal extent. Looked as if concrete around hot tubs has never been cleaned, pool was adequate. Arcade and location were the best part! Oh, and my room flooded 30 minutes before my virtual birthday party, the delated start caused people NOT to participate - disastrous end to a well planned weekend!!!

Hotel and staff were great! Comfy rooms and clean! Very disappointed in Waterpark and pools. The heaters only worked in 1 spot. Kids couldn’t even play they were so cold. Staff had on think winter coats and gloves in the indoor pool areas. Enclosures were ripped and missing in some areas.

Offers a smoking option on hotels.com there is none the only option is to walk to a designated area. Even the balcony is off limits. Wasn’t able to get a refund or to check out without penalty after I was duped into thinking they had smoking rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay. Especially having a balcony with my room. Being able to sit on the balcony enjoying the sound of the waves crashing. And watching the Sun rise and the moon set. That is so amazing and relaxing. Such a stress reliever. Much needed. You have a beautiful hotel also.

Over all property was good. Some places had paint chipping off. Didn’t have much for covers or pillows, ended up having to go by a blanket. Staff that we came across were nice and polite.

This hotel was absolutely filthy and disgusting. You can see they haven’t cleaned many parts of this hotel in a long time. The room is very old and very out dated for the money you spend. I chose to stay here for a very expensive rate compared to other hotels in the area and I did not like my stay there at all. Very disappointed

Okay so the checkin was fast and friendly. The pools and water slides were very exciting for the kids. Little confusing was the directory of where all amenities are located within the 3 towers. Rooms were pretty clean and affordable. My only complaint is there needs to be more attention to cleanliness in the bathrooms. Could stand a little Clorox and tilex to make it smell better and shine.

The hotel was just ok. It was very noisy. The girl at check in was rude and was complaining about third party bookings to her coworker as I was checking in, as a third party booker. I realize that many hotels charge for parking and accept this as part of travelling. My view on this is that it is just a money grab, pure profit, so to charge a fee on top of the parking fee is rediculous. The fee is minimal to use your credit card, but you are not losing any money letting guests charge their parking fee via cc. I ended up paying cash to avoid the fee. On to the property, the pool was dirty. I saw trash and cigarette butts floating in the lazy river and pools. The person working the top of the water slides was not wearing a mask. The room itself was just ok. It was clean. Hotel check in is not at the hotel, It's across the street, just a heads up. I wouldn't book this hotel again.
