Comfort Hotel Frankfurt Central Station

Basic but just what was paid for location excellent

It was very good.It is very close to main station,shopping centers,and resturants.

The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the station and was very easy to find. Although not that far from the, lets say, R rated area, its far enough away to feel quite safe, even for single girls. While the room was on the smallish side, it was of newish appearance. Best request a room at the rear. There is some minor noise if upfront, mainly from passing trams and the occasional street person. Can recommend the coffee/bread shop opposite (on the street with the trams) and also a couple of excellent Chinese restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Only downside was that shower door has a gap, resulting in wet bathroom floor. Also, take care in getting the water temperature right - can easily turn icy cold (or very hot) when trying to turn off the controls. Would stay again if in Frankfurt

The property was within walking distance of the hotel. Also many great food outlets and restaurant in the area.

The room was super small with no AC. The room I was in had a view of the back staircase to another business where employees would sit and smoke and then could look directly into my room. This made it not possible to open the window for any airflow. Overall, the room was not very clean. Alison, Closest parking is about .3 miles away yet I believe that the hotel lists parking. I would not recommend.

Only downside is that the pillows don’t offer much support and the rooms can get pretty hot overnight in summer but for the price, you have to take these things into consideration I think.

The Hotel was a comfortable one, but the breakfasts were poor. The hot food in the usual canister, wasn't! (hot). I object to paying 12 Euros for cold scrambled eggs, sausages & baked beans etc. The alternatives - croissants, bread for toasting (which once it has been exhausted, is not replenished), plus just a few cold items. In fact, I opted to abandon breakfast and get some snacks at the Station on my trips around the area for the rest of my stay. Really, this has to be improved. the Breakfast area is, in fact, part of the Oriental Restaurant adjoining, so once breakfast is over, there is nowhere else to go in the Hotel confines. You can't therefore sit and have - say - a coffee & relax, since the Restaurant is NOT a part of the Hotel. Visitors should be made aware of this.
