Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC, an IHG Hotel

Room was adorable and neat but very small and smelled very much like mildew. Cleaning folks were super loud early in the morning on a Saturday. Hotel is charming, well-appointed and great location.

The hotel was good. The valet was terrible. Took over an hour for our car to be brought around. Other than that good location and room.

The staff was excellent and the room was great. We would recommend this Hotel.

We loved the decor and amenities. Nightly parking is a bit pricey, but it was for a Valentine’s Day celebration so we overlooked the cost. The location is perfectly placed within walking distance to most sights and great restaurants. We had an amazing time and would do it again.

Beautiful Facility and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will come again.

Used valet parking, check in went smooth, room was clean, great location situated near capital arena and downtown Chinatown, lots to do especially if you like the night life with bars and clubs, short walk about a mile or two from great museum and monuments

Initially could not find my reservation. It took over 10 minutes to find. My name was completely distorted. I asked for a room change because of noise. Told me the noise would stop after the game, so really not a problem. Generally left me with an unfavorable feeling.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff gave a complimentary bottle of champagne, and cupcakes to wish a happy birthday. The hotel also hosted a nice happy hour and gave free wine. Our room was clean along with other areas. We enjoyed a workout in the fitness center too. The location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, free coffee in the morning, wine hour in the evening, great restaurant . Only negative is noise level - from the hallway as guests walk past the room and from the ballroom on upper level with loud music. Would stay here again but request a quiet area if exists.

Was pretty unimpressed with our stay overall. Got to the room and the bathroom was dirty from the last occupants. Had paid for a better room and it was just so average. The bathroom also needed a renovation, it was so old and worn down. The elevator was broken for most of our stay too.
