Dirty. Tiny rooms you cannot even get a suitcase in to. Stained blankets on beds. Did not feel safe. Anyone could walk in unchallenged and access floors. Only one person allowed in one lift because it is so small and social distancing. Awful place. Leering workmen all smoking and drinking blocking doorways in as well.

Terrific mattress, linens and nice big towels! Staff was very accommodating & friendly, especially helpful during such a strange time. Will definitely stay here again. Good value for the money as well.

We checked in and were given a room 211 with one full size bed. Room was so small that I didn't have space to even open my luggage on the floor. Room view was a wall of the hospital and some business backyard. Chambermaid was up early and she was super loud in the hallway, that I really didn't like. Walls are pretty thin and insulation is poor so we could hear peolpe next door talking... Hotel is located in great area, it's a bit outdated and everything is super small in it including the bathroom. There's space for only one person and it's big enough just to turn around in it. Heating was not functional, and half of the plugs / lamps were not working. Chambermaid and another guy who works with her were seen in the hallway looking at her phone and chatting in either Spanish or some other language not even acknowledging guests presence. It was rainy for few days and I asked front desk if they have umbrellas for the guests; he told me to go across the street an buy it. Maybe my expectations were a bit higher because in Canada we get much better hotels and service, but I was not impressed by this stay...

Shabby room 2 king beds took up all space. We had no need for an extra bed

Nice location but the hotel needs an urgent renovation, our room was very, very small, it was challenging to walk in this tiny room. Also, I had a terrible experience with a receptionist at night who was very rude and made me feel harassed.

The location of this property was excellent and the check in girl was very polite and friendly. Our twin room was small and our 2 beds were basically pushed up together creating a double bed. Also, there was significant issues with our toilet flushing, we did call the front desk and they sent somebody to look at it, however we managed to get it flushing. It did the same thing again the next morning. We also had feedback from another friend staying at the hotel that they experienced the same thing with the toilet. The man at the front desk working late was very rude and seemed inconvenienced by our call. Location was great but the room was not worth the money.

A poor overpriced hotel. Given weong room type twice. No breakfast even though it was paid for. Tiny room. So small it was unbelievable I was ripped off. Totally overpaid and staff didnt care.

Could not get cold water from the tub/shower faucet, only extremely hot water, called front desk for help, and problem was resolved only temporarily. Very difficult to shower. No top sheet on bed, just a bottom sheet and duvet. No hair dryer in room. This experience made me doubt Mercure for future bookings after I have used them for years in many cities.
