Hotel was not as pictured on Hotels.com website. Desk was broken in half and the top was standing against the wall. Property looked old and abandoned. Pool and hot tub closed due to Covid, either tho an employee told me it was open.

lobby closed. desk was broken in room. bed was so firm i left in the middle of the night to go to a different hotel.

Carpet under ac was wet and other parts of carpet stained. Halls smelled of smoke and bathroom was disgusting. If others hotels were available we'd choose different.

Do NOT stay here! It is absolutely disgusting! People walk around the halls scoping out rooms. There are sketchy people outside of the building also. The front desk had to call the cops when I arrived due to something fishy going on. The hotel and rooms (including non smoking) smell like cigarettes. The smell was so strong, it was making me nauseous. There is no breakfast as advertised. We ended up leaving as soon as we entered our room. Beware!!!

Room musty odor people very loud

Not clean...very outdated. Bed covers smelled like cigarettes and had stains on them. Carpet looked old and disgusting as well as everything in the room. Fridge did not work. Way overpriced for what we got.

The good part: the staff were polite and helpful. The housekeeper went out of her way to get decaf for me. The not so good part: the phone didn't work. It was replaced with a new one when we complained. The TV didn't work. A staff member was able to reprogram it. The card keys repeatedly demagnetized, even when kept in the paper sleeve and away from the cell phones. In 6 days, we had to get the keys changed 4 times. There were stains on the hallway carpet and an odd smell in the hallway. Occasionally the stairwell smelled strongly of pot. When we booked, the website said free breakfast, but the dining room was closed due to Covid. I know that was not their fault, but we should have been told. The truly horrid part: Loud yelling and music outside our window at 2 a.m. multiple weeknights. Loud yelling in the corridors after midnight, and sometimes after 2 a.m. The front doors were not in use due to Covid, and the back doors were unlocked. Lots of activity in the parking lot by the door; drug deals??? Did not feel safe walking in the door and several time there were people loitering in the stairwell.

Upon arrival @ 11PM, the outside looked clean. Lobby was closed due to Covid. Checked in at night window. Pretty Painless. Got to the room, key card didn’t work so tried another & Bam, open sesame. Walked in and should have never turned the lights on. Immediately looked at the pillows and multiple Long HAIRS on two of the pillows. Pulled covers back, sheets looked slept in, black “dirt” on the sheets & wow, another hair. Husband looks at comforter & there are HUGE cigarette burns in the comforter. Moving along to bathroom, hairs in the tub and on the side. Hair on the vanity. Shampoo bottle already open. Use our own blanket and sleep on top of our blankets for the night. Attempting to sleep, can’t because of the loud yelling and lady walking up and down the hall knocking on the doors. Next day, go outside, Hall REEKS of what we will say is cigarette smoke. Abandoned furniture Thrown in the parking lot that we didn’t see the night before, random guy walking along the front of the building looking into the bottom floor windows. I have never been so disgusted and anxious to leave somewhere. If we weren’t desperate for somewhere to stay, I would have left as soon as we arrived. Absolutely disgusting. Hallway smells so bad and rooms are so gross that I wouldn’t even walk barefoot, had to check the “clean” towels before I used them. They are “painting” and “updating” but you can put makeup on a pig and it’s still a pig. Do not recommend.

The room reaked of cigarette smoke. It sounded like kids were having a circus next door. Loud banging, sounded like people ran up and down the halls constantly. I was in town for the 6 gap century and this was the closest hotel to Dahlonega that was still available otherwise I would not have chose to stay here. It's OK if nothing else is available. The A/C worked well at least and 5 Guys wasn't too far away, so there's that.

We entered the ground floor room only to find the window did not lock. A small metal piece was placed in the runner as the lock. However, the window actually had gaps and could legitimately be pushed out. When I asked to change rooms, I was told there were no other rooms. I asked for a manager- I was told they were off for the weekend. I asked permission to duct tape the window and was told to do whatever made me comfortable. I asked for assurance the owner would not mind and was told he could not assure the taping would not be considered damage. I mentioned concern regarding security and was told they have cameras, as if that is a deterrent. To top it off, the key lock to get into the hotel to access the room was broken. Anyone could enter the hotel at any time!! We taped and stayed only to find the air conditioner did not work. DON'T STAY HERE!
