La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft. Wayne

The COVID policies were displayed with numerous reminders about masks and the staff clarified any questions about the procedures. We arrived late the first night and was good to see staff performing extra cleaning. The breakfast bags were adequate, most people might complain but we were happy and understand the limitations due to COVID. We also brought our own food, so we were not originally planning on breakfast from the hotel. The hotel is far enough from the highway and main road, so we were pleased with how quiet our room was. The hotel seemed a little older, so there are some repairs needing to be done but nothing different at most hotels in this price range need to do. The only complaint we have is the faucet at the sink, it was not the proper design for the basin and was too short for easy hand washing - hopefully that was limited to our room as we have not seen this problem at other La Quinta properties.

The atmosphere was amazing. However when asked for towels, because there was only 4 to begin with we had to turn in used towels to get more towels.

We showed up and got in our room. The view was blood splattered curtains. The bedding had black stuff speckled all over it something crusty was on the sheets. The window view was uh nothing tobbe happy about. The bathroom was nasty. Toilet had poop on it just was a bad stay. The rooms were loud and the room had a nasty smell in it. I had to go to the store and buy air fresheners and cleaning spray bevause they obviously didnt have a good cleaning style.

We were getting married this weekend had al out friends and family stayed it was comfortable and clean. I wish the breakfast and coffee was more at the ready but over all it as good.

I ended up having to leave early for personal reasons, but the room was very clean and staff was friendly. I'll definitely consider them again.

It was what we have come to expect from a La Quinta. We did experience a minor problem though. The air conditioner needed some maintenance work. It did not cool the room very well.

Clean room, beds, and shower! Only misleading part (due to Covid) was the “free breakfast”. It was literally a brown paper bag with a banana and a granola bar. Not their fault though, it was a nice stay!

Clean, friendly service, a lot of options for food...

The clerk asked if we wanted handicap bath room. She did not explain what room she was putting us in. The shower was not good and the water pressure and hot water was not good. I had to take cold shower. We will not stay here again.
