AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter

First of all, the details on hotels.com for this room said booking age was a minimum of 18, which is why I booked the room, upon arriving the front desk said that check in age was 21 which resulted in me having to check in 2 hours late after having to wait for my friend who was staying with me to get into town. After getting into the room, it is VERY SMALL, pictures completely misleading. The “city view” is a view of the Hampton inn across the street and maybe the street below, if you don’t have a concrete ledge like I did on the 4th floor blocking your view. The walls are VERY THIN, you can hear everybody in the hallways coming and going and definitely everything the people staying in the next room are saying., and everything below on the street. Microwave is in the “store” below on the first floor, not in the room, it got very very hot at night even with the thermostat set on 67. I would never stay here again, the double tree inn is much more satisfying, less expensive, quieter, and roomier. The staff was also not the most pleasant upon arriving, and there was no resolution to the booking age on the site being incorrect.

Very close to bourbon. Hotel service was great. Room wasn’t the cleanest. Floors were dirty. Lobby didn’t have much to purchase from if you needed snacks. The only window was out to the hallway. In return I think it made it easier to hear guest walking/talking in the hallway.

Great location close to everything. Convenience store on the corner for snacks. Hotel and room were clean. Our only complaint was housekeeping not coming, but a couple days invwexwere told we had to request service. Overall a mice place and we would definitely stay again

Overall it was good the only think is there’s a front desk ladie that she was very rude when you ask for things that i need to my room she will get very upset and The housekeeping crew will bring the rest of the things that I need but she didn’t even know what I needed it so oh how the housekeeping will bring my stuff so it was like one of my second time staying there I ask her for towels because I was going to go early out so I had to figure it out how to dry myself because she didn’t want to give me towels other than that everything was very very great everything is clean they have all the measurements for the sanitation they have Set hand sanitizer by the elevator and the entrence great bar inside the hotel

The beds were very comfortable and the vicinity had a modern look and upgraded amenities. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to get the Bourbon street experience without paying for transportation to get everywhere. Unless I just overlooked it, I would’ve liked numbers for the front desk and room service.

It was a cool hotel. Design and construction seemed kind of pieces together, not excellent. Overall 7.5/10

The only disappointment was that I paid for a city view and got a close view of a garage and alley way.

We stayed at AC in October 2020. The room was fine and clean but the valet and parking situation was a mess. Cars were lined up in the street waiting on valet, we were told upon check-in they “weren’t sure” if we would be able to valet or not. Upon check-out I witnessed the valet give the wrong car to a guest. Maybe they’ll work out the kinks with time.

Hotel concept is great. Room was clean and comfortable and updated. People were very nice. Only complaints are that the patio was not clean or in good shape, and the walls are thin so we had to listen to the party in the room next door.

Excellent customer service good location right by the Bourbon Strip and everything is right there!!! Nice and clean hotel.
