Holiday Inn Express Lichfield

Rrally helpful amd friendly staff. The place was clean and have plenty of hand sanitizer in place.

Very disappointed with the size of the family room. We booked 2 adults and two kids . One child had a sofa bed and our youngest had a pop up travel cot. Very limited space to erect the cot and only space we found was in front of a glass mirror and then you struggled with space to get past . Not a comfortable stay for two nights . This was just a standard room made up to be a family room. Not good at all .

Never stayed at a holiday inn extra before and upon arrival easy and fast check in, polite member of staff on front deak explained about rules due to covid and what to expect on breakfast. Arrived to room and was very impressed very clean the hotel was and room even down to the lift bed was very comfy and had a great sleep would highly recommend this hotel to anyone will definitly return thank you for a pleasent stay

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet

We weren’t told that the room wouldn’t be madeup after the first night. When we returned the room wasn’t touched. No clean towels,tea, sugar, coffee etc was not replenished. I know these times are difficult but we have been in many hotels recently and all of these carried on as usual.

The location is good for links to A5 M42 etc. There’s tables set up for eating at the entrance but it’s not the nice restaurant you’ll find in most other Holiday Inns but the do serve decent food. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and up to the usual holiday inn standards. Only down side really is no gym and not really possible to go a walk into Lichfield without jumping in the car 1st.

Not suitable for familys with very young children. Didnt sleep much as i had to hold on to my 2 yr old all night as i was worried they might fall off the side of the sofa bed.

Lovely staff member checking us in and throughout the evening nothing was to much for him. Thank you for a lovely stay! The sofa bed is not the most comfy but ok for one night

well to start passage ways dirt a d bits from room in them . rooms are not deep cleaned fan had not seen a clean and floor was dirt and bit from last person stay in roo. also in was really noise from road so no window could be open at night a d was told only 3 cleaner for 100 rooms so deep clean in possible and people walking around with no mask and no one was pulling them up and lift had spilt on walls my little one was just pulled away for it in time. a d all staff seid they passed audit . i think person was blind that did it . and food in morning was cold and not cookef .
