Great tv was messing a little

The location is the biggest factor on the hotel. With that said, as i have read in other reviews I can verify that you as a guest fight against fishermen your whole time there. In the places you can fish and even park. They take up spots that are designated for guests which are not many and you just have to deal with it. I got our room for $60 a night so i didn't anticipate much but parking should not be something I have to fight over with someone that isn't even paying for a room. I will pay more for my next stay in the area to have the freedoms I feel are warranted for a paying guest. In the rooms they have ice buckets with bags as you are use to, only, no machine on site that i could find. Maybe because of covid, but if so, why leave the buckets? Stupid to me but whatever, just a waste of trying to figure out the why. Also, apparently me and my wife found out don't you dare sit on the swings or benches next to the office. We were sitting there just talking when we were instructed by management that the area was private property. Signage would be useful in this information. I think the front pergola area is open for guest since they didn't run us off from there too. All in all, once and done hotel. If you want a cheap stay with no frills, this is the place for you. I will pay more for better offers personally.

First room smelled of mildew so had to get another room . This room had a smell also but not as strong .The bedding sheets were stained , didn’t have proper linen on bed instead of a flat sheet they used a fitted for a person to cover up. AC didn’t work at night which made me toss and turn all night .

Motel has a nice view and good for some fishing...room had roaches and felt like you were going to fall when you sat down on the toilet because floor was rotted! Room also smelled like mold and mildew! Won't be staying again!

The price was great. The room had been remodeled, but it is an older building. Do not expect to sleep in, the housekeeping crew comes by promptly at 9.

Housekeeping was prompt and cleaned everything. When you go to the gulf region keep in mind the humidity. The room was just as pictured. Parking can be a little of a hassle if your room is near any of the docks available for fishing. It’s not so bad on the week days but the weekends the place becomes a hub for lots of people fishing. We didn’t mind because watching the locals was helpful when we decided to fish. You literally can fish a few feet from the hotel on 3 sides. All in all for a Motel 6 it’s exactly what you need for a vacation, a soft place to rest your head and a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing. Great stay and will stay again if visiting in the future.

It is right next to Nueces Bay, good fishing, takw your fishing poles, but no swimming pool , great location

We rented for a week and didn't know they don't clean every day.it was a chore to get clean towels and wash rags over all just dirty.

The location of the gotel are great.. A lot of people fish here and the room are within walking distance from the water.. No need to go anywhere else bit the bait and tackke shop.. Hotel is older so the buildings are not the best condition but for the location not a bad place if you don't kind an older hotel vibe
